Place your pan onto the stovetop and pour 2 teaspoonfuls of oil. After a few seconds, 15 or so, stir the tofu and flip it to the other side, so it doesn’t burn and fry it for around 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Preheat 300° Fahrenheit and leave it for at least 2 minutes so that heat spreads throughout the oven. Splash some oil, wrap the tofu in an aluminium cover, or wrap the pans/ dish lid. Take a safe dish, place it on a lightly oiled baking sheet, and bake for about 10 minutes. After that, remove the plate from the oven, and inspect whether it has reheated well and is perfectly crisp on its exterior. If it is achieved the crispiness you want, reheat until it attains.
Place the tofu on a microwavable dish, sprinkle some water, and cover it with plastic wrap loosely to allow steam to escape your microwave. Set it with low heat and reheat for about 1 minute to 30 seconds. Check them after 30 seconds to ensure they are warm all through.

- As per USDA, leftover cooked food can store in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. During this time, reheat the leftovers to 165 °Fahrenheit.
- When heating tofu, it’s essential to use caution. Be sure to reheat it slowly and evenly to avoid overcooking.
- Only reheat tofu once. Reheating tofu more than once can increase the risk of food poisoning.
- Before reheating, make sure the tofu is cooked correctly. Partially cooked tofu can be dangerous because it may not reach a high enough temperature(165 °Fahrenheit) to kill bacteria.

How to Defrost Tofu Safely?
It is necessary to defrost food before reheating. Thawing tofu is easy, and different methods can use to defrost this product. You can use the following ways-
- Refrigerator: Before reheating, Remove tofu from the fridge, place them in a container and let them sit in the refrigerator overnight. In this process, do not worry about the growth of foodborne bacteria. It is slow a process but safe to thaw.
- Microwave: Place on a microwave’s plate, turn to defrost or low power setting, waits 1 minute and check. If it is not fully thawed, repeat it for 15-30 seconds, and the process is repeated until the tofu is completely defrosted. Please don’t leave them in the microwave too long. Instead, it makes the tofu overcooked and makes rubbery and inedible.
- Warm water: Heat a pot of water, bringing it to a boil. Let the water cool, place the frozen tofu in the warm water and constantly check every 5 minutes. You can check it using a knife to see if it is soft enough. Once thawed, squeeze out excess water before reheating.
